“I have an 11 month old boxer that I love - and I want other people to love her too, so I want her to be well trained. .
. .Gina's classes are organized and fun!  She is as good with the humans as she is with the dogs.  She has given
me the tools (and tricks : ) I need to teach my dog simple things like sit and wait as well as more complicated
behaviors like off leash control.  Gina taught me to be the responsible dog owner I want to be, which allows me to
enjoy my dog more.  I have continued to take Gina's classes (Basic, Intermediate Obedience/Beg. Agility) because I
trust her to take me and my dog to the next level each class.  My dog and I looked forward to the class each week
and left with great new insights and "homework" that Gina printed out for her students.  I tell anyone who has a dog
about Gina and One Good Dog Professional Training.  I can't recommend her highly
enough!”                                                          -  Jen Hatters, Maple Valley & “Findley” the Boxer

Intermediate Obedience with Beginning Agility for Fun
Tune up you and your dog’s basic obedience skills and add distance, duration and distractions to sit, stay, come,
etc and learn Leave it, Go to Your Rug, Give (Out), etc. We will discuss how to fade lures and make treats random
for established behaviors. We will teach new tricks and introduce agility equipment and targeting. Agility is excellent
exercise for mind and body and helps dog’s gain confidence and learn to work as a team with their handler.  Pre-
requisite: Dog must be current on vaccinations (including DHLPP, Bordatella, and Rabies). A clear fecal test and
wellness visit by a veterinarian within the last year.  Dog must have completed basic class, Boot Camp, private
lessons, or instructor permission.  Preregistration required.

Puppy Manners
For puppies under 6 months (toy breeds & shy pups to 7 months).  Many vets are encouraging early socialization
for puppies in a controlled environment with other vaccinated puppies.
Early socialization is very important. There is a prime "window of opportunity" to socialize a puppy and that window
is prior to 16 weeks of age. Don't miss out! Many dogs end up abandoned in shelters due to the lack of
socialization. A lack of socialization can cause many issues such as aggression and fearfulness. So, be intentional
about opportunities to safely socialize your pup to adults, children, different situations and other pups!  Use good
judgement though.  Protect your pup from negative experiences such as children or dogs playing too rough and
really loud, scary noises.  Puppies must have had a veterinary wellness exam and be current on vaccines.  Puppies
learn basic good manners - sit, down, walk on a loose leash, wait, come, off, sharing, polite greetings, learning self
control, etc.- and some fun tricks. We also discuss house and crate training, chewing and biting, and useful tips on
puppy management and redirection or problem behaviors.  Nutrition, collars, leashes chews, toys, and more!
